Franklin CGU-628A, USB Internet AirCard, Unlocked GSM

Our new CGU-628 USB modem demonstrates Franklin Wireless' continual leadership in delivering wireless broadband USB modems that incorporate high-end features. The Franklin Wireless CGU628 offers the flexibility of HSDPA in tri-band 850/1900/2100 MHz and in quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz capability. The CGU-628 provides high-speed connectivity to HSDPA networks with data speeds up to 7.2 Mbps.

One differentiating feature of the CGU-628 product is the onboard flash memory, which eliminates the need for a CD or CD drive to install the factory pre-stored connection software for PC and Mac computers. Users also have enough space to store downloaded music files, documents and installation guide. Another unique feature includes a patent-pending swiveling USB connector, which allows the modem to be raised vertically for improved radio frequency performance or folded away when not in use.

This modem is generic unlocked meaning it can be used with any GSM Carrier such as AT&T Cingular, TMobile, SunCom, Rogers Wireless, Fido, etc.
